Thomas Miller Investment appoints David Smith as new Chief Executive
Thomas Miller Investment (TMI), the investment arm of the of international market leading mutual management services provider Thomas Miller, has announced it is to appoint David Smith as its new Chief Executive, subject to regulatory approval.
David Smith replaces Hugh Titcomb in the role of TMI’s Chief Executive, following Hugh’s recent appointment as Group Chief Executive of Thomas Miller. David joined Thomas Miller in 2018 as Group Risk & Compliance Director with extensive experience in corporate governance and risk roles. He joined from Just Group PLC where he was Director of Enterprise Risk and has also worked for KPMG and Savills.
Hugh Titcomb, Chief Executive, Thomas Miller, says: “Since joining Thomas Miller, David has been instrumental in developing the Group's central risk function, as well as serving as Compliance Officer for a number of our managed clubs. David has a good understanding of our investment business, having served as a member of Thomas Miller Investment’s Operational Risk Committee and as a non-executive director of Thomas Miller Investment’s UK Board. I am confident he will apply his undoubted commitment and focus on continuing to deliver real value for our clients.”
Thomas Miller intends to appoint a successor to David for his current roles in due course.
