Frank Bergert succeeds Tobias Braun as Chief Executive Thomas Miller Hamburg

Thomas Miller has today announced the appointment of Frank Bergert as Chief Executive of Thomas Miller Hamburg with immediate effect. Bergert succeeds Tobias Braun, who has left the business after eight years to pursue other interests in the marine industry.
Frank Bergert has been involved with the business since it acquired Zeller Associates in October 2018 in a consultative role for Silverton Maritime Solutions GmbH, and has been on the Board of Thomas Miller Insurance (Germany) since the deal completion. Frank has vast experience in general commercial and financial sectors, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Reederei E.R. Schiffahrt GmbH and CPO Holding GmbH.
Former Chief Executive Tobias Braun has decided to leave the company after more than eight years working for both Hanseatic, prior to its acquisition by Thomas Miller, and subsequently as Managing Director for all Thomas Miller entities in Hamburg.
Hugo Wynn-Williams, Chairman, Thomas Miller, says: “Frank brings extensive expertise and a wealth of commercial, financial and leadership experience to our company and we believe he is a very safe pair of hands to take over the reins to lead Thomas Miller’s operations in Germany. We are grateful to Tobias for his significant contribution, he was instrumental in giving Thomas Miller the opportunity to establish a presence in Hamburg when the Zeller Group of companies were acquired in 2018. We wish him well in his future endeavours.”
