150 years together
The history of The UK P&I Club dates to 1869, a landmark maritime year with the long-awaited opening of the Suez Canal. Over 4,000 kilometres away in Britain, a tea clipper – the Cutty Sark – was readying for launch. Further south in the City of London, The UK Club had just formed.
